"He hath founded it upon the seas” the motto of the Cayman Islands, has special meaning for the members and staff of the Port Authority. This statement is an insight to the role that the Port Authority of the Cayman Islands play on the lives of Cayman's citizen on a daily basis.

Located on Harbour Drive, the Port Authority of the Cayman Islands handles a wide range of cargo on their way to and from every part of the world.

Most of the Port's international container cargo comes from and travels back to, the southern and eastern regions of North America and Jamaica, making it a very busy gateway.

The Port, at the cost of being immodest, can boast of state of the art modern marine terminals and ample land for its various modes of operation.

The Port also commands excellent inter-modal operations with the help of a highly motivated and productive labor force.
