The Port Authority of the Cayman Islands invites applications for the following position:
SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER
Cruise Berthing Development Project
SALARY: CI$80,832.00 – $108,720.00 PER ANNUM
The Post holder will be responsible to the Chief Project Manager (CPM) of the Public Works Department (PWD) for the successful delivery of a major Cruise Berthing Development project through all project stages to completion. This project will be delivered through a form of Public Private Partnership. Post holder duties involve providing high quality project management of this project through all stages of the project lifecycle with specific responsibilities including:
Qualifications Experience & Skills
The post holder must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in one of the applied sciences related to construction/construction management (i.e. civil engineering, quantity surveying, project management, and architecture or construction management) from an accredited educational Institution. Additionally, the post holder must be a registered, professional member of his/her discipline established either in the UK, US or Canada.
The post holder will possess a minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience in Project Management and contract administration which shall include significant experience in managing projects in excess of $25 million. Prior experience in significant seaport projects and PPP projects is considered very desirable. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Project Management Software; be a team player and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
