The Government of the Cayman Islands along with the Port Authority is currently exploring establishing the first ever cruise berthing facilities for the Cayman Islands. Discussions are taking place for the construction of two piers to berth 4 ships through a public /private sector partnership arrangement. It is anticipated that construction will begin in 2010.
